BRISTOL – In the first NCAA Regional Rankings, the King University men’s basketball team is ranked seventh. The Tornado are currently 19-6 overall, but 17-6 in NCAA Southeast Region games.
Lincoln Memorial University is currently atop the region with UNC Pembroke in second. The Tornado are one of two Conference Carolinas schools in the rankings as Southern Wesleyan University is ninth.
King has three games remaining in the regular season, starting Wednesday night with a contest against Erskine College at home in the Student Center Complex at 7:30 p.m.
The NCAA Regional Rankings will be released the next two Wednesdays before the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Selection Show on March 8 at 10:30 p.m.
