BRISTOL – King University head baseball coach Blaine Brown has announced his schedule for the 2021 season. The schedule includes eight Conference Carolinas series and eight nonconference games.
The season is scheduled to start on February 10 with a home first pitch against Milligan College before the Tornado open Conference Carolinas play with a four-game set at home against Southern Wesleyan University on February 19 and 20.
“We are excited to get to play in 2021,” Brown said. “We were off to a fantastic start in 2020 and hated we didn’t get a chance to see it play out. We have a core group of last year’s team back and we are excited to see what the spring brings. Playing a four game weekend series will be different then what we are used to, and after the last year I think our guys are willing to play no matter what the circumstances.”
All Conference Carolinas series will be four games this year, and the Tornado will have two nonconference games with Milligan before traveling to Limestone College for four nonconference games. King will also play UVa-Wise twice, once at home and once on the road.
The Conference Carolinas Baseball Tournament is scheduled for April 21-25 at Fleming Stadium in Wilson, N.C.
