CENTRAL, S.C. – The King University men’s cross country team returned to the course for the first time this season, taking second at the Southern Wesleyan Meet. Blaine Metcalf was the individual champion as the Tornado placed three runners in the top 10.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Metcalf finished first by two seconds with a time of 16:42.2.
- Josh Booher came in sixth with a time of 17:20.7.
- Jesus Pacheco finished in 17:30.2 to take ninth.
- Kade McDonald and Joel Parker came in 12th and 13th, respectively. McDonald finished in 17:36.9 and Parker came in 17:39.4.
- Jake Allison finished in 17:55.5 to take 15th.
- Andrew Smith came in 23rd with a time of 19:07.4
King returns to the course on October 16 at Queens University in Charlotte.
