Freed-Hardeman University has provided the following updates for the 2020 athletic summer camps.
Baseball/Soccer/Men’s Basketball – CANCELED
Softball – Update to come at a later date
Women’s Basketball – The week-long camp has been CANCELED. There will be a one-day camp on August 1 with the following details:
- There will be three sessions that run three hours each
- Session 1 – 9 a.m. – noon; classes of 2022 and 2023 (Registration at 8:30 a.m.)
- Session 2 – 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.; classes of 2021 and 2022 (Registration at 12:30 p.m.)
- Session 3 – 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.; class of 2021 (Registration at 4:30 p.m.)
- No lunch provided
- Must bring own basketball and water bottle
- Mask must be worn when not doing physical activity
- First come, first serve. Each session size will be at a maximum of 20 campers
- $50 (t-shirt included)
Volleyball – Going to separate day camps
- Wednesday, June 24 – Hitter camp (9th-12th grade; $70; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Thursday, June 25 – Setter/DS/Libero camp (9th-12th grade; $70; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Friday, June 26 – Junior High Fundamentals camp (7th-8th grade; $70; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Monday-Tuesday, June 22-23 – Cub Camp (4th-6th grade; $60; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
- Lunch and t-shirt included
- Can sign up to come to multiple camps
- NO VISITORS ALLOWED
All camps have been updated on the website at http://www.gofhulions.com/f/Camps.php. The registration form for volleyball camp has been updated for both the day camps and the cub camp. A registration form and information pamphlet for the women’s basketball camp will be added soon.
